I am the owner of a 15+ year old stray cat named Muters. For several years Muters
has been struggling with stiff hip joints, and more seriously, painful arthritis in his
right paw and “wrist”. Kim began working on Muters monthly to relieve these
symptoms in October of 2005. Muters is extremely shy, so I didn’t know if he would
allow Kim to even get near him, but she definitely has an aura about her, as he
settled right into her lap so she could work on his stiff joints. His hip area loosened
up well. He unfortunately suffered a serious infection in his arthritic wrist in March of
2006 which led to the amputation of his right front leg. After this surgery he suffered a
seizure which left him temporarily blind. However, with excellent veterinarian care
along with Kim’s various treatments, Muters vision returned and he learned how to
balance and walk without the use of his right front leg. He is able to negotiate stairs,
get up on my bed and down from it using a step stool, use a litter box…he is quite the
independent fellow.
I also greatly appreciate Kim’s thorough explanations regarding what she finds
(knots in muscles, etc.) during her treatments as well as lessons on how I can help
him be more comfortable by performing different massage techniques and using
acupressure points on a daily basis. She leaves me a diagram with detailed
information after each visit. I also appreciate her home visits – it helps Muters to be
relaxed. I truly believe Kim’s monthly treatments helped him to recover and lead a
robust, pain-free, content life as an “amputee”. He is my very special companion and
I am so blessed that he is still with me!
